Dear Yuletide writer—
Thank you for writing a story for me! In general, I love angst, and stories focused on characters. I love reading about people negotiating their relationship with each other. It's a thing. My do not wants are rape/noncon, character death, torture, graphic violence, extended medical descriptions, bloodplay, etc. I hope I've given you enough detail below to get your bunnies started.

Casual Vacancy
The end of Casual Vacancy broke me--I was crying all over an Amtrak train. I don't want a fix-it. But I do want to hear more about the time before the book, with Krystal and Sukhvinder on the rowing team with Mr. Fairbrother as the coach. This was a recurring theme in the book, that it was the most hopeful time in Krystal's life. I guess I just want to spend a little more time when she was happy, particularly with her friendship with Sukhvinder, since it seems so unlikely later on.

Sleep No More
I honestly have no idea how you'd even go about write fic about this, but I'm curious. What I love about Sleep No More most is the feel--I've been several times, and it's all about the mood and the alternate mental space it puts you in. And there are so many little stories you see only part of as you move through--it would be interesting to see one of them expanded.

Traders
There are so many plot holes in this show and so little fic to deal with it. For a while, Donald and Jack made a little family for Grant. But then Donald left and Jack [spoiler] and Grant sort of went insane and the show never really dealt with how he felt about his friends leaving, so anything about that would be great.

Back to the Future
I want to know what it was like for Doc after the first movie, waiting for his best friend to be born. He'd have to wait thirty years to know if he succeeded. And when he finally met Marty McFly, it would be Marty from a different timeline than the one he originally met--so how did that work?

Was Doc a creepy stalker? Did he try to avoid Marty? Did the Marty he met in the new timeline--the one with a functional family, successful parents, and a lot more leeway from them--have fewer issues? Or different issues? Maybe that Marty was a jerk. But think about it--that Marty is erased by the events of the movie. How did that all feel to Doc?
