LJ-versary

ivyficToday is my ten-year lj-versary! Ten years ago today, sydni_64 pimped me into slash fandom and convinced me I needed to have this thing called an lj. (Which is why my username is so ridiculous--I had no idea what to pick. I went through a phase where I thought about changing it, but ultimately, this is what people know me as, so.) She then graciously put up with me emailing her about every little thing, from how to use an lj-cut to what the hell "hoyay" meant.
In that time, I've made 3,739 posts and written 12,973 comments. (Dear god.) I've posted 38 fics (not counting some of the earlier efforts).
I know that at this point, fandom has largely moved on to other platforms. But I don't tumblr or tweet. Here I am crossposting to DW, but LJ's still my home.
Here, I give you my first ever post. And here, two weeks and 12 posts later, the first post that anyone other than syd commented on. Oh, my first lj friends! God, I have no idea what happened to those people...
