Do you ever feel like you want to listen to an entire album, but you don't actually want to listen to the whole 40 minutes? Like you wish you could download it instantly into your brain?

OK, maybe that's just me.

YES. Dear God, yes! This has been made worse by having an iPod in the car where I can swap between songs at will. You get to a song you like and you're totally enjoying it, but you wish you could get to later parts faster or get to the next song faster.

There should be a way to play all the songs at once and not have it sound like noise.

At the moment I'm listening through the Genesis catalogue (or at least the four of their albums I have) trying to get a sense of how their group's style changed over time. But at the same time, I really want to listen to "Dance with the Moonlit Knight" again, but I don't want it to take fifteen minutes.

Hurrah for the short attention span.
