ivyficI just found out that "Katzenjammer" means hangover. Or more properly:
1 - A loud, discordant noise.
2 - A hangover.
3 - A state of depression or bewilderment.
The website for the KJs always emphasizes definition number one, but really, definition number 2 is a heck of a lot more fitting.
