From the annals of the truly strange

I use Bath & Body Works hand soaps, and I rotate fragrances. Yesterday I finished up one bottle and switched to White Rose & Ginger. I figure I must have used this scent back in February, because every time I get a whiff of it, I am forcefully reminded of reading Hellblazer: Dangerous Habits. Either that or the Less than Legendary Hercules stories. It's really strange. And the freaky deja vu sense is not fading, either.

Fear the sense of smell and its primitive connection to your amygdala! It is the most powerful of senses, and that even seems to apply to all scents not previously encountered in nature (of which white rose and ginger is probably one).

True. But this is the first time that my sense of smell has reminded me powerfully of a book. That's how I know I used it in February and March because, sadly, those months can be summed up with Hellblazer.
