Teen Wolf finale
Aug. 13th, 2012 11:16 pmSo...who bit Alison's mom? Was it actually Derek? The guy who only consensually bites people? That makes no sense!
I was also worried for a second there that Scott had a plan. But phew! It was the vet all along.
I also have no idea why Stiles got beat up except to make the fans happy. What was the point of that? He went home and lied about it! Scott seems to not have even noticed anything happened. (Way to go Scott on the best friend front. Also with not even trying to rescue him. Good job.)
So, enormous gaping plot holes, dangling unaddressed plot threads, and the plot only working because characters refuse to talk to each other. Pretty consistent for Teen Wolf.
ETA: Also, why tell us that Jackson has a super-scary other form with wings and then...not have him change into it?

I gathered that his kidnapping was intended to keep Scott distracted and also to get information from him. But then why let him go? Because he'd given up some useful info? In which case what was it? And if his not answering Scott was deliberate as part of a deal, how would anyone know whether he answered or not?
The key bit with Jackson and Lydia seemed shoehorned in, as did the pill trick and I didn't get the point of the further transformation either -- honestly, just all a bit of a mess there. In fact, I was just hoping Jackson was actually dead. I'm not clear if he's now a werewolf or what. I assume this will be explored next season just as what happened with Lydia and Jackson was done this season.
(BTW, got your PM but want to take my time with it so may be a bit in replying)
