I hiked out to the Jersey City waterfront with jethrien, chuckro, xannoside, mithras03, and sparticleman last night only to discover that the fireworks was completely not visible from the Jersey City shore. But at least this didn't happen.

Yeah, I saw that one too. I think we would have at least heard that explosion!
