I'm putting this behind a cut, but a clip from Supernatural was on this week's The Soup. The clip was of a unicorn with rainbows shooting out of its ass. Joel didn't even know what to say to that--he just stood there baffled. It was clear he didn't get the reference and was just...o.O

I am of the group that that was clearly meant for, but jeez. Not making me want to start watching the show again. Fan service is fine, but it's like Supernatural has gotten into a codependent relationship with its fans where they finish each other's sentences and the people who used to think they were cool have started backing away slowly...

It was actually a hilarious episode, and that imagery makes complete sense in the context of the plot...
