|-) Geordi La Forge smiley
Jan. 6th, 2012 12:01 amWhen I was home for Christmas, I saw a book that I bought from the Boston Computer Museum in 1993:
The Smiley Dictionary by Seth Godin. I remember getting it because--oh look! You can make faces with a keyboard! (I will point out I didn't go on the internet at all until 1995, and didn't have access on my own computer until 1999. Emoticons were far in my future when I bought this book.)
And it has a valuable coupon in it! For $5 off Compuserve! So valuable is this coupon, it is advertised on the cover.
