Did anybody else think the princess Adler was dominating was supposed to be Kate Middleton? There was a moment there when she refers to her assistant as Kate, before it was clear she was an assistant, where I was like OMGWTF ARE YOU DOING I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD--oh. Never mind.
Well, it's a way to still have a blackmail plot be relevant. Cause a lot of blackmail plots in Sherlock stories, if set now, would be like--so, you went to Rome when you were in college and banged a dancer. So? Doesn't everybody?

...and the more I think about that, the more I'm not okay with it. Marry into the royal family! Have popular fictional TV shows imply things about your sexuality, not least of which is that you are unfaithful!
