Dear Yuletide Author,

Thanks for writing something just for me!

Some general likes:
- I am an angst bunny. Especially when it’s not over-the-top.
- Protectiveness.
- Inversion of cliches.
- This applies more to longer fics than Yuletide generally is, but I love romances that are more about the negotiation of the real difficulties of the relationship than about love at first sight.

Some dislikes:
- I don’t like graphic descriptions of violence.
- Or rape.

Back to the Future
Doc + Marty

Though I’m a slash fan in general…not for this story. In the first movie, Doc has to wait thirty years to meet Marty again, and find out the end (and beginning) to his story. Given how isolated he appears to be, how does he handle waiting that long to meet his best friend? How do they meet (again/for the first time)? What is their relationship like before the movie, with Doc always knowing that Marty’s going to end up in 1955?

seaQuest
Ford/Krieg

Krieg was my favorite character on seaQuest. (Too bad they booted him after the first season.) In particular, he seems to have a very antagonistic relationship with Ford. But in the episode “Nothing But the Truth,” there’s a bit of grudging respect there. So anything that builds on that. And if you could build on the fact that Krieg knew Bridger’s son before he died (sooo ignoring later canon about that), that would be great.

The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.
Brisco/Poole

Gen or slash. Brisco is kind of protective of Poole who is, let’s face it, a bit naive. I’ve never seen this pairing in fic, and I’d love to.
