This is driving me nuts.

Somewhere in the vast amount of media I have consumed, in a tv show or a movie, is a moment when one of the characters takes several bullets to the chest. All but one are stopped by his vest--one gets through because he'd flipped up his bulletproof vest to get at an insect.

What the hell is that from? Anyone have any idea?

I should've guessed it was Twin Peaks. The combination of angst/drama and bizarre, surreal comedy is kind of a tip-off.
