ivyficYou know how characters on tv are always too young to have the professional experience they're supposed to have? (With the flip side of everyone in high school being way too old--with the net result that everyone's in their twenties.)
Well, I just had that driven home to me. I'm watching NCIS:LA, and a character is reminiscing about how when she was fifteen she snuck out of the house to watch a movie. The movie? Titanic. I had a moment of wait--that's--that's younger than me. I know how far along in their careers my peers are, and that's not it.
