I watched my first ep of House tonight. First let me say that it is extremely disconcerting to hear Hugh Laurie speak with an American accent. He has all the same facial tics as Bertie Wooster, but it's like I'm watching a Japanese dub or something. That voice just sounds totally wrong.
Second,
veryschway, you are completely correct. All those aerials are of the Frist Campus Center. I'm sitting there going - and that's McCosh, and there's Guyot. If the angle was just a bit lower on the flybys, you'd be able to see the Princeton crest in the windows on the back of the building.

Thank you for vindicating me! :) I was worried that maybe I was just wishing too hard. hehe. Oh, good, sweet Frist Campus Center. Pton, I love you!

Date: 2005-04-06 09:21 pm (UTC)Now that I've watched every episode, though, there was a scene where they used the Frist exterior in a regular scene. Episode 102 has the patient, while hallucinating, make his way onto the roof of the building. They show a closeup of the patient and Dr. Chase on the roof at night, with tall buildings in the background...and then a shot roughly from the base of Guyot at the roof of Frist, with the characters on the roof (or at least doubles)...and then back to the closeup with a nonsensical background. Very strange. Not sure if they filmed that scene on top of Frist or just did a composite...it doesn't look like a composite.
OK, I'll stop rambling now.
