Supernatural...bringing fanfic cliches to thee screen since 2005.
OMG--Dean takes Castiel to a whorehouse. I was dying. They don't need goofy eps this season, they just need Misha's
face.
This is heading exactly where I thought we were heading, but that doesn't mean I'm not loving it.

They're all lost sons trying to find their way. It makes Dean somewhere between Castiel and Rafael--keeping the faith, looking for his father, but at this point, just wanting it all to be over. John, still casting a shadow. And dealing brilliantly with the traditional idea of god the father.
Oooo...I just had a thought. Dean and Sam's relationship to God in early seasons is a mirror of their inner feelings toward their own dad. On the surface, Dean is the good son, but inside, he's lost his faith in a benevolent father. Sam fights constantly with his father, but still has faith. Interesting, no?
Also, I've been saying Dean and Sam would be opposing vessels for at least a season and a half.
