Super eavesdropping power ahoy
Mar. 27th, 2009 05:03 pmI was watching a bit of a Sentinel marathon on Sci Fi today (sorry, "Syfy"). I swear I only do these things while procrastinating. There was an ad on for a sonar headset thingy that lets you have superpowered hearing! And it's so inconspicuous--it just looks like a giant dorky headset. The ad kept showing people using it to eavesdrop, and the people were always saying great things about the listener: "I hope so-and-so is happy! He deserves it!" "She has such an amazing figure! I wish I looked like that!"
Clearly, some marketer out there had this product, and was like, who would want to buy this? I know! Sentinel fans! It's perfect! They all want to have super-hearing like Jim, right?????
