So, I turned on the CW for Supernatural, and I get the very end of Smallville. Somebody's doing...something angsty. But! The song they are playing? It's Apocalyptica! It's "I Don't Care" from their excellent album Worlds Collide. This was the song that was so loud when I saw them in concert that I felt like someone was grabbing the back of my skull.

Oh, I love it when my obscure little bands get breaks like this.

Back to Supernatural...

The version they were playing is not actually on the album. Or rather, it's not on the American release. They rerecorded the song at the singer's request for the US release. The European version, which is on Apocalyptica's homepage, has more drums for some reason.
