1 - You are Gertrude's descendents, Jane Seymour, not ancestors, as you stated. You stupid f***. You can't be Gertrude's ancestors, that would make you four-hundred years old. That was a dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, stupid, idiotic, inane and totally fixable mistake that the director should have caught. How can a woman be a manipulative genius if she doesn't know the difference between descendants and ancestors?

2 - Lionel - oh god, the hair. I thought the shaving of the mane was a tragedy, but this new hair is hot. Damn.


Next week - WTF? Crouching Tiger, Hidden Lana? Hey, Gough/Miller - what is that I see receding behind us? I think that was the shark.

But at least we know there'll be a season 5 - since that whole Verizon contest is giving a spot in the season premiere as the prize.

1) HA! I sat there yelling at her about that for about twenty minutes, and I was the only one who heard it, so no one knew what I was talking about and thought *I* got it backwards!

I just assumed it was a Jane Seymour fuck up that got left in. But dear God. That was so wrong. Not only am I watching to people I don't care about, but one of them, who has devoted her whole life to studying her family tree, doesn't know what an ancestor is.

Don't forget, in the movies and in the silver age, he wasn't so great. He spent so much time saying that he was the gcmoot that he never spent any time planning, and so all his plans sucked. Didn't he once have a "secret" hideout that was actually a set of skyscrapers lashed together underneath a dirigible?
