ivyficI am watching "Must Love Dogs" (don't ask me why). This is really a pretty bad movie. None of the cast members have chemistry with each other, let alone the leads. It's like watching a high school drama class, these people trying to deliver the wooden script. The montages of bad dates--I have had far more interestingly terrible bad dates than this. These are just tired cliches. And John Cusack! He used to be cute and charming! In this he is unbalanced and really creepy.
The only highlight in this thing is Stockard Channing, but I've loved her for a long time.
I suppose I have to watch until she gets together with the very creepy and emotionally stunted Cusack character.
