Enterprise eats it

Enterprise just got cancelled! The end of this season will be the end. Not to say I'm surprised. And I haven't actually watched it since 2003. But still! TV without Star Trek! That hasn't happened since 1986.

Thank God. It was just too depressing how bad that show was. I hope they can find someone to breathe new life into the franchise.

It was rather inevitable. I mean, I was a dedicated Star Trek fan for about a decade, and I gave up on Enterprise midway through last season.

Peter David's New Frontier novels are the closest thing to a new Trek series that I've seen and appreciated.

Yeah, I stopped watching some time ago, but I still taped most of them on the off-chance things improved... I might still want to watch the Mirror Universe episodes later this season, because I'm a sucker. Oh, how I wish the show had been better. I really like Scott Bakula and this is the second series of his that has been cancelled after four seasons. Maybe it's him. Nah.

I stopped watching it when they started airing it against Smallville, and hey, anything that goes head to head with Smallville loses. I'd still like to watch the rest of the series sometime, but yeah. Not so great.

And I thought QL went five seasons, not four.
