More Yuletide fun

I received a wonderful story for Yuletide, as well:

1000 Lies and A Good Disguise by Vyola

It's a coda to the movie Constantine, and will leave a warm fuzzy feeling, while not being saccharine enough to make your teeth ache. And when I said "John Constantine makes pancakes for no one" in the prompt, I was being facetious. Honest.

Oh, dear. That makes me very glad that I've read very little fic in this fandom -- or much off of the Pit in any fandom.

...I'm being judgmental in assuming that such a fic can be found on ff.net, aren't I? Heaven knows, LJ isn't innocent. But still.... *g*

Glad you enjoyed it. I've always loved that last scene after the credits and the chance to go a little purple with my prose -- Heaven! Hell! Angels! Demons! Wiiiiiiiiiiiiings! And all those little hints about Chas! -- was damn near irresistible.

Actually, it was on lj. I gave up reading ff.net many years ago. There is so much to play with at the end of the movie! I planned out a whole epic sequel to the film in my head, where Chas comes back as an angel because the unseating of Gabriel caused a whole shake-up, but some of the heavenly host, not appreciating the inclusion of a human in their ranks, sets Chas up, and then Chas screws up hugely and gets kicked out of heaven and...

Except that would be a ton of work and Constantine fandom is pretty much...not, so I moved on to other things. But thank you for indulging my yuletide wish!
