Yeah, I know, it's really sweet that he still takes the time to read with his daughter, but Twilight is so god-awful and such an awful role model for young girls to have. I WANT OBAMA TO BURNINATE THESE BOOKS.
Surely you're kidding. You wouldn't think it strange that his daughter is reading it, would you? Given that she's the target audience? I think it's excellent that he's sharing it with her. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean that people shouldn't enjoy it!
BTW, check out this article on the Obamas' life in the White House, which states "...Barack wants to remove the plasma TV from the famous Lincoln bedroom. Instead, he wants guests to read."
Uh... I hope he's previewing these before reading them with her, cause from what I've read the last book is not something I would read to a 10 year old.
