Last night I watched an episode of Saving Grace. Is anybody watching this show? Anybody? Cause its kind of awesome. Grace is just a complicated, fascinating, (and, yes, angsty) kick-ass woman. *adds season 1 to Netflix*

I also saw a promo for the X-Files movie. "No, Mulder. This is about your sister." OMG, Chris Carter, can you not find another dead horse to beat? I lived through seven years of that storyline already. Seven years. During which you gave every possible solution to the mystery of Samantha's abduction. And when you finally gave the really real story of what actually happened it was crap, but it was the end of the storyline, so I was happy with it. I did not think anything could make me less excited about the X-Files movie but, congratulations, that did.

In a totally unrelated note, I tried the extremely overpriced, highly advertised Tropicana Valencia Blueberry-Pomegranate juice. It is delicious. Not what I expected at all—I don't know how to describe it other than it tasted purple, but in a good way.

Gah, Samantha! Still! 15 years later! I really think I need to wait until this movie comes out on video so that I can verbally abuse it in the privacy off my own home. ;)

I am with you there. I'm seeing so much in the theater this summer. I don't think this makes the cut. I'm also in the middle of a massive rewatch of X-Files--I'm up to season six, and I'm stopping with season seven. Somehow I think a comprehensive knowledge of the show would actually make the movie harder to watch...

It's also one of those things, kind of like the Indy movie, where you want to believe your characters rode off into the sunset (okay, rode off into the sunset pursued by a massive government conspiracy), so you don't want a ten years later, they're lives are still fucked up kind of thing.

I just watched my first "Saving Grace" episode and was pleasantly surprised. I love fucked up drinkers with all my heart.
