-Sam and Dean swear. A lot. Awesome!

-Did anyone else notice a few continuity errors? It seemed to me there were some camera angles not explained by the placement of Ghostfacer cameras. The establishing shots were by the room cameras they set up in the beginning, but in some of the faster sequences, I swear some of the cuts were to cameras that weren't explained.

-I love that the only real reason Maggie got out of the protection circle at the end was so that we could have better coverage of Ed when he's talking to Corbett. Excellent.

-One more plothole: we see Harry in his "confessional" in his car at two seperate points. One is where he's commenting on screaming about the rat, which must take place after the events in Morton House. In the other, he's talking about Corbett, and Corbett walks up, which must happen before. But it's pretty clear the two were filmed at the same time.

-I actually found this episode surprisingly scary, all the more so for the light tone. Especially with the POV cam on Corbett as he's murdered. Then seeing Corbett's ghost through that cam with the corpse in the foreground. *shudder* I was thinking, if this is really supposed supposed to be a reality show, that's extremely graphic and sick. I can't imagine any network airing it. Which is why I loved Dean (was it Dean?) saying at the end, "you've honored Corbett's memory while grossly exploiting the manner of his death. It's a fine line you walk."

-Dean said it would be their Grand Canyon. You know, just be saying that he probably could have gotten Sam to go along with anything.

And yay outsider POV! Yay Sam and Dean running into someone they've helped before! I loved the moment where they confront Ed, where Dean's still trying to claim they're cops right up until Sam recognizes them.

Also yay to the reference to the writer's strike, the spoof of Ghosthunters, and I detected a bit of a reference to that MTV show Jared hosts. I'm told yesterday was Kripke's birthday--don't know if it was intentional or not to have the episode be about a sick, twisted birthday party. (Yesterday was also Newman's Day. This has nothing to do with anything, but I bet Dean would be down with drinking 24 beers in 24 hours.)

And my final thought:
"Gay love can pierce the veil of death and save the day."

Wait, there are new episodes? I thought it was done for the season?

Dude, where ya been? Four more episodes, starting last night and running straight through, I think. You thought they were going to end the season without resolving the deal? Kripke is cruel, but not that cruel.

I haven't turned on the TV except to watch DVDs in months. And yes, I thought he was that cruel, or at least forced to it by the strike. Damn, now I've got to go find last night's episode.

It was kind of scary. I shuddered a few times.

I mean, except for when I was laughing my head off or flapping my hands making gleeful squeaks.
