This is mostly for linaerys and trinityvixen, but have you guys seen Near Dark? Cause oh sweet jesus. Adrian Pasdar, young and incredibly hot. In a cowboy hat. With an accent. Angsting up a storm. And there's this one scene where he's got his shirt off and these jeans ....

Seriously, fellow Pasdar watchers, if you haven't seen this, you're missing out.

While not an Adrian Pasdar fan in the same way you are, I have seen Near Dark and enjoyed it. It's one of the better vampire flicks, in part because it ignores many of the stereotypes and clichés to do its own thing. And hey, it's got Lance Henrikson and Bill Paxton in it--both good character actors.

I did quite like it. It's very earnest and they never mention vampires. The vampirism comes about organically--they only show a certain attribute when it's necessary for the story. I loved that when he was vamped he didn't immediately go kill someone. He honestly doesn't seem to know what's wrong with him. Yeah, it's definitely a film I'll be adding to my shelf.

Yes I have. I do like him older better, but he's a sexy dumb vampire thing in that movie. And yes, the shirt off near the end . . . and the jeans . . . YUM.

His is a vintage that has definitely improved with age, but he's pretty hot when he's young, too. I had to rewind to watch the shirtless scene again cause...damn. I think I was biting my knuckles.

Also, a small part of my brain points out that his little sister is the same relative age to him as Peter. And...wouldn't that just be a perfect crossover? The time when Nathan accidentally got turned into a vampire and almost got Peter killed and only went back to being human cause his little brother needed him?
