Seaquest season 2 DVDs! Hurrah! I'd pretty much given up hope that these would ever come out.

Of course, the second season of Seaquest is excreble, only slightly better than Seaquest 2032 which I couldn't even bring myself to watch when it was on tv. But I'll get it anyway. It's a nostalgia thing.

Wasn't the second season where the doctor gets possessed by a ghost from a shipwreck and then aliens kidnap half the crew for no good reason at all?

The haunted shipwreck was first season--you can tell cause it's the good doctor. Second season they replaced her with a doctor who said she'd done her PhD. in "nucular physics." No joke.

The alien abduction? Yeah, that's end of second season. Leading up to third season, where they're returned in a cornfield twenty years later mysteriously missing a few cast members, which they never explained.

Yeah, I feel like that show had a great premise, but they just couldn't think of enough plot without screwing up the premise. Shame. I liked it when it was a futuristic military show, not when it turned into X-files lite.
