ivyficMy former boss used his work address as his only address for the eight years he worked at the company. Which means, now that he's left, all his junk mail comes to me. This is mostly Restoration Hardware catalogues, but the other day I got something different: Brocade Home.
First of all—this catalogue has the most lurid, oppressive wallpaper I've ever seen. I mean, it sort of works, but only if you decorated your entire house this way, and even so I'd be afraid the wallpaper patterns would come to life and attack me at night. Second of all—why would a straight, single man living in New York ever get this catalogue?
And then as I was flipping through, I saw this:

Yup. That's a framed pair of underwear. With a rose next to it. I know you all want to run out and buy such an item for your very own, but that "Ruffle Edge Corkboard" the underwear is on—which is made of resin—that costs $200.
