ivyficSo I've been watching selected bits of season 4 of Smallville, and I have this theory...
You see, Jason Teague is Dean Winchester. Wait! Don't hit the back button! The timelines actually make sense -- the three months in Paris and the year in Smallville fit into that black hole of unaccounted for time when Sam was in college, and Dean and John were off doing god knows what. So, it goes like this.
Genevieve Teague is a witch. Dean meets her (probably because he bangs her, which would explain the weird tension between those two), and she notices that he looks a lot like her dead son Jason (which would be why she bangs him, back to the weird tension). She puts some mind control mojo on him and convinces him that he is Jason Teague, then sends him off to Paris to seduce Lana and set this whole Isabelle/artifact/revenge thing in motion. Dean's the perfect candidate because he's capable, sneaky, not rattled by crazy shit and a complete sucker for doing what his parental figure wants.
After the meteor shower in Smallville, John Winchester shows up cause hey -- crazy shit happening in Kansas, and finds Dean in a hospital bed. With Genevieve dead, the mind control's worn off and he's confused as to why he's in Smallville.
Sometimes Dean has nightmares about coaching football and dating Lana Lang. He doesn't like to talk about it.
