He wrote Holmes on the Range (which is a fantastic book and you should read it, but that's besides the point) and writes this blog in the voice of his narrator from the book - Big Red, a cowboy in 1893.
In this blog, Big Red bitches about how Steve Hockensmith stole his book. If you scroll down to the post "all about Steve," you'll see Big Red call Steve out, and then engage himself in a lively bit of flaming in the comments. Keep in mind, this is all between Steve and... Steve. He even throws in a few sockpuppet posts to egg on Steve and Big Red.
It's hilarious. I can't decide if our author is entertaining or completely insane.
