Andromeda season 3

I'm beginning to see just what behind-the-scenes decisions led to Andromeda sucking. I watched "The Lone and Level Sands" last night. This episode features about 15 years of Dylan running around the Bellerephon shooting stuff. Bo-ring. And in order to make room for this, they deleted a thirty-second scene (on the DVDs) in which Harper and Rommie explain why they're here, what this ship is, and why the crew haven't aged. Yeah, taking out all the exposition for an extended (badly done) fight scene - that makes perfect sense. I remember a time when you could go an entire episode without any hand-to-hand combat.
This episode is only somewhat redeemed by Harper breaking the news of Earth's devastation to one of the Bellerephon's crew members. This is the second time he's done this (he told Dylan in the first ep) and I have to say - the guy has no tact at all. But that's why we love him.
