(no subject)

I was just reading a really good ELF fic online, and after twelve chapters pfft. It stopped. After poking around online a little longer, I found a notice from the author saying that they were never going to finish it. Can I just say AAAAAARRRGGH!! Why post WiP's if they will never be finished? Now I must write my own ending in order to find closure.

On a side note, I know I haven't been posting often. Suddenly, with singing in New York, I have a lot less free time and energy. If only I had a nicer computer that would let me post on my commute. Maybe someday. Sigh...

Is anyone else having really funky formatting issues with the LJ default screens? On my computer, the icons keep appearing behind the menu bar, which just takes all the fun out of it.
