I was just reading a really good ELF fic online, and after twelve chapters pfft. It stopped. After poking around online a little longer, I found a notice from the author saying that they were never going to finish it. Can I just say AAAAAARRRGGH!! Why post WiP's if they will never be finished? Now I must write my own ending in order to find closure.

On a side note, I know I haven't been posting often. Suddenly, with singing in New York, I have a lot less free time and energy. If only I had a nicer computer that would let me post on my commute. Maybe someday. Sigh...

Ack--or at least they should say the story is unfinished in the "Warnings" or "Notes" section. That is just rude.
