Freakiness abounds

On the subway just now I noticed that the guy next to me was reading a comic book. Then I looked a bit closer -- I just reviewed that comic book! Like, two weeks ago! I told him that I'd read it, since, what are the chances.
The extremely dorky-looking guy on the other side of the reader then asked him what he was reading and started on about how he has a comic book, he's just having a hard time finding an artist. (It never ceases to amaze me that you can't throw a stone without hitting an aspiring writer.)
After an appropriate pause, the reader turns back to me and asked me what I thought. I said I loved the art but thought the story was a bit fluffy (pretty much my review, just in fewer words) and that I was surprised to see a guy reading it. Turns out he knows the writer.
Small world on the New York subways.
