While I work for a CW affiliate, there is a sister station in the office that's an NBC affiliate. I've been hearing rumors of this for over a year. Add to that the fact that NBC has been advertising BG on the network, in prime, and yeah I really think it's going to happen.
I also think it's going to kill the show. The network just won't be willing to cross the lines that BG wants to cross. Both story wise and content wise. I can't believe the writers are going to choose to cut back to be on network when they have carte blanche on cable.
I do, however, find it quite ironic in the sense that Sci-Fi used BG's success as one of it's reasons for cancelling Stargate. They said they wanted to focus more on BG. Sure, that's not the only reason SG1, but it was one the reported main ones.
I just bet the execs at Sci-Fi are kicking themselves.
