The more I think about it, the more I like the idea that "at," as a syllable representation of a gate symbol represented "origin" universally. This would mean that the planet names would be six syllables words, like Proklaroosh Teonas (I have no idea how that's spelled, sorry). Add "at" onto the end of that and it could mean something like "going to the planet blah." So the journey to the above planet would be Proklaroosh Teonas-at. This actually bears some resemblance with how Earth languages work.
I feel like I have to add to all this babbling that I once worked out an entire calender and creation myth based on deification of the stargate, using arabic as a source for all the proper nouns, for a story that I then subsequently never finished because it was turning into a ten-page long exposition of how the calender worked.
I still hope to be able to turn that into something workable someday. *sigh*
