I was mostly thinking "DEATH TO FRED." At least she looks cool as a demon.

Two thoughts:
Why were they battling the orcs from lord of the rings?

When Spike said "there's a hole in the world" my mind immediately continued "like a great black pit and it's filled with people who are filled with shit and the vermin of the world inhabit it and it goes by the name of london."

OK, maybe a third thought. I liked the "Little Princess" reference, not only because the description fits Fred, but because her bedroom looked exactly like Sara Crewe's magic room. A nice touch.

One of my friends maintains this is Tara all over again. IMO, this is not like Tara because Joss was casual in the way he killed her, making it shocking, cruel and disturbing. This was so damn drawn out and melodramatic I was singing Chicago over the last ten minutes and not paying attention.

Next week Wesley gets to kill the woman he loves. Again. I hope Lilah puts in an appearance to gloat.
