I dreamt last night that J.K. Rowling, in true cozy mystery tradition, included a recipe for chocolate chip cookies in the seventh Harry Potter book. The ingredients list went something like this:
15-year-old chocolate chips
15-year-old butterscotch chips
Six million eggs

I remember looking at that last and thinking, now that can't be right. Where am I supposed to get that many eggs? Who is she baking cookies for -- the entire population of Uruguay?

And then, after baking the cookies, she'd reveal that she also used sugar and water. But she wouldn't mention them until then. :)

Also, that since Fleur was the one who gave the recipe, it was a clue that you also need flour...

I guess it took 15 years to accumulate all the chips you needed for that recipe?

Maybe you were baking cookies that all the Harry Potter fans might eat of them when the seventh book was finally released.
