Feb. 18th, 2004 10:26 pmI have a confession to make. I liked that Angel episode. I really did.
I got a big kick out of watching satanic puppets beat each other up. Maybe it was a childhood of Muppet Babies. And the Angel puppet was cute.
I think I liked this episode mainly because, yay! The actual cast! And not just Angel! I love Spike, I do, but I didn't realize how much I missed the old cast. Although his cameo was great - hey, wait. If Angel can beat up Spike when he's a felt puppet, why can Spike kick his ass normally?
I'm not a Fred/Wes shipper, and I do wish he spent a bit more time brooding over Lilah, but oh thank god. They're finally together. Sheesh! Took long enough. Now I don't have to deal with anymore idiotic pining. True, it looks like they'll try and kill her next week, so them getting together is just a melodramatic ploy to make Fred-in-danger more interesting. Wait...wasn't Fred-in-danger the only thing that brought Wes out of his funk in season three (with those water sucking bugaboos)? Whatever...
Gunn...you're in trouble now. I'm loving this. I just rewatched "War Zone," the episode where Gunn was introduced, and I love to see him dealing with his past. Now all we need is an Alanna (?) reference.
One Thought on Smallville
So that whole thing was a ploy to create more Clana tension? Gag me. And like Lana has any right to get huffy over Alicia, what with Adam and all. Although I loved Jonathon catching his son in bed with a girl. Damn. I laughed through the whole and break.
And wait - was that...Pete? For all five seconds? And even though Clark seems to remember last week's episode, Pete (surprise, surprise) does not. Remember what I said last week about they need to develop this Pete plot arc? Sigh.
