I saw in TV Guide that Tarzan is getting the axe. Can't say I'm surprised. Or saddened. From the few episodes I saw, it wasn't a terribly interesting show. But, it does prove something. This means that Smallville is based on more than just pretty people, because, hey, Tarzan had that. But there's one thing Tarzan didn't have. The Lex factor!
Speaking of bad tv... I actually think I like 10-8. I know this is a real low-on-the-totem-pole show (I mean, it's not even on TWOP). But I've been watching the last ten minutes or so every week as I obsessively fiddled with my antenna before alias. So yesterday I watched the whole thing, and I really enjoyed it. I mean, the plot was derivative, there was nothing innovative in the treatment, but it worked well. And the main plot (our hit is put out on our main man Amonte after he witnesses a murder) was interspersed with strange midget jokes that seemed to only serve to give the other actors on the show something to do. But the relationship between Amonte and his TO Barnes is downright paternal. And Barnes is hot. So now my Sunday evening has degenerated into a three hour marass of ABC watching.
On Alias: they need to come out with a soundtrack album to that show. Seriously.
On Practice: Johnny Quest! I was dying over the bad lipsynching!
