May the Fourth

My choir has a concert this weekend, and at the dress rehearsal, I was observing how singers (including myself) will make all sorts of gestures to help them get the right placement and breath support. Pointing, pulling imaginary strings, moving their arms in arcs—anything to help the internal process to work properly. Of course, they don’t do that in concert.
Then I was thinking about Jedi and their hand gestures when using the Force. When they’re practicing, of course, but never in concert.
And then I was thinking—where are the Jedi performance artists?
I refuse to believe that in a world with Force users, there wouldn’t be Force artists. Humans (yes, I know, and aliens) leak art. Even religious traditions with strict aesthetic proscriptions still create art. If Jedi are Buddhist monks, where are the Jedi creating mandalas with the Force. Where are the sculptures that can only be created with the Force? Where are the musical instruments played with the Force? Where are the concert halls where a ring of Jedi create elaborate patterns out of levitating sand or water with the Force?
Disney, I demand Jedi performance art.
