Folding Ideas is hard to characterize. One of the more intermittent creators, sometimes his content is multi-hour takedowns of bad movies (boy did he hate Book of Henry), sometimes it’s culture analysis (like a video on the inherent colonialism of many board games) and sometimes it’s political analysis. If you go back far enough on his channel, he used to do everything with a puppet (rather than film himself). So I’m just going to point at one of his more recent videos on Flat Earthers. Unlike most videos about Flat Earthers, this isn’t simply debunking the scientific claim (though he does do that, brilliantly, by filming the curvature of the earth on a lake), he dives deeper into the underlying theological reasons why people would be drawn to the idea. …and then he pivots to explaining QAnon.
