If you’ve ever heard of breadtube or lefttube, you already know Contrapoints. A video essayist who has elevated the genre with elaborate costumes and sets, and with detailed and nuanced analyses (often presenting, yes, counterpoints). And every single video of hers has educated me or challenged me, even if I don’t always agree on her take. Yes, there are some videos that are feature film length. They are 100% worth it. Whenever a new video drops, that’s what I’m watching that evening. This is her most popular for a reason—the only analysis of the incel movement that digs deeper than dismissing it as simple misogyny.
