What is it with my dreams lately?

On Friday night I dreamt that Britney Spears was bludgeoned to death by her husband.

Last night I dreamt Mark Hamill was dead. Granted, I was more broken up about the latter than the former. And the shocking part about last night's dream was that he had died over a year ago and I was only just hearing about it - which, if he did die, I'm on enough mailing lists that I'd hear about it an hour after the fact.

ok, for one horrible moment, I thought you'd written, "Last night I read Mark Hamill was dead," and then I started freaking out. Then I reread it and I am still a little freaked, but relieved.

Yes, it freaked me out too. I believe my response in the dream to the person was - "But he can't be dead! He needs to play the Joker in the next Batman movie!"

I have it on good authority (aka my interweb friend heard somewhere online...) that Lachy Hulme will be the Joker. If you've not heard of him, that's probably for the best, as his largest role I know of was as Sparks in The Matrix sequels.

Besides, Mark Hamill's getting too old. We don't want another Jack for the role, no matter how fun Jack was. We need a villain Batman can grow old with....and NOT LIKE THAT!

No, I didn't mean that he had actually been cast, I was expressing my long-time wish that someone would cast him in a live production, cause he's a damn good Joker.

I think he's a better voice. He's not quite the look I had in mind for the Joker. Lachy Hulme, on the other hand, has the right nose for the Joker, and he's not quite attractive. There's something about his face that's just wrong for being pretty, but not by much. I think the unnerving thing about him works in his favor. I'm not so much a fan of his voice. If they could put Mark's voice in his mouth (worked for Vader, ask Mark!) I'd be totally won over.
