More texts from my landlord
Dec. 12th, 2017 10:17 pmMy unit has a washer/dryer (I know!) that for god knows what reason is designed so that its lint trap can only be emptied by a technician disassembling the machine. That means once a year, it loses its ability to dry anything and needs to be serviced. Last week, just such a time had come. The super let the technician in while I was at work. I then got the following texts.
Landlord: Did this go ok today?
Super: Not really, he left outside to move car bc he parked it at pump then left keys in apartment, he had to come to job sight to get other keys, other than that everything is ok
Landlord: Oh man - so it was mostly his trouble, not yours, I hope?
Super: No, I just felt bad for him, got ticket, close door behind him, but he got the job done, of course he was upset, but he parked at pump. No problem with me thanks for asking, so u can rest assured lol!!! Have a goodnight!!
Landlord: Yeah, too bad for him.
The washing machine was indeed fixed, and he left an invoice on the counter. I can tell you, from having been ticketed for parking at a hydrant in JC myself, he lost money on this job.
