Yeah, I didn't know about the Long Walk (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_Walk_of_the_Navajo) until I saw Sunkissed (http://sunkissedthefilm.com/) at SilverDocs this year. When they got to that point of the movie, my reaction was a mix between "of course there was a genocide of the Navaho that was never covered in my education" and "... fuck." I was already a snotty mess by that point anyway, since Sunkissed is absolutely gorgeous and completely heart-wrenching. PBS will be airing it on October 18th on POV (http://www.pbs.org/pov/sunkissed/) if you're interested
