following in
trinityvixen's memeing footsteps:
First, write down the names of 12 characters. Then read and answer the questions. You can't look at the questions (or click on the cut) until you write down the 12 characters you're going to use.
1) Iolaus [Hercules]
2) Daniel Jackson [Stargate: SG1]
3) Scully [X-Files]
4) Seamus Harper [Andromeda]
5) Dr. Kristen Westphalen [seaQuest DSV]
6) Wesley Windham-Price [Angel]
7) Miss Parker [Pretender]
8) John Smith [Dead Zone]
9) Elliot Stabler [Law & Order: SVU]
10) Data [ST:TNG]
11) Zoe [Firefly]
12) Ray Kowalski [due South]
Have you ever read a (6)/(11) fic? Do you want to?
[Wesley/Zoe] As much of a whore for bad crossovers as I am, I’ve never seen this. It would be fun, I think. She’d kick his ass.
Do you think (4) is hot? How hot?
[Harper] Hell’s yeah. Everyone knows I’ve got a thing for sidekicks.
What would happen if (12) got (8) pregnant?
[Ray Kowalski, John Smith] He’d get a Nobel prize for being the first person to impregnate a man. And John Smith would probably have visions of his child’s entire life during childbirth. That would be distracting.
Can you recommend any fic(s) about (9)?
[Elliot Stabler] Only one, but it’s WIP. For a character with such potential angst, there is a serious dearth of Stabler fic.
Would (2) and (6) make a good couple?
[Daniel Jackson/Wesley] Actually, yeah. They’d bond over their love of obscure dead languages. And the Stargate and Angel universes are pretty compatible (but hell, you can crossover Stargate with anything).
(5)/(9) or (5)/(10)? Why?
[Kristen Westphalen/Elliot Stabler or Data] No on the first pairing. *shudders* And as for the second – I think Westphalen would be more interested in taking Data apart to see how he worked than sleeping with him.
What would happen if (7) walked in on (2) and (12) having sex?
[Miss Parker Daniel Jackson/Ray Kowalski] It being Miss P, she’d either laugh, take pictures, or join in.
Make up a summary for a (3)/(10) fic
[Scully/Data] She’s a scientist trying to believe. He’s a machine that redefines human understanding of sentience. And hey, he’s fully functional too.
Is there any such thing a (1)/(8) fluff?
[Iolaus/John Smith] God I hope not. Iolaus did have a spate of visions at one point, but I think the obstacles that would need to be overcome to bring these two together in a crossover fic would be too much to expect there to be fluff on the other end.
Suggest a title for a (7)/(12) hurt/comfort fic.
[Miss Parker/Ray Kowalski] You Always Hurt the One You -- Well, He’s Pretty Easy on the Eyes, At Least.
What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted (4) to deflower (1)?
[Seamus Harper, Iolaus] I think lots and lots of alcohol would have to be involved. Because if you don’t actually have a good reason for two people to have sex, alcohol always works in a pinch. Also – I highly doubt Iolaus hasn’t been deflowered. Seriously. The guy’s a horndog.
Does anyone on your friends list read (7) slash?
[Miss Parker] There’s no femme slash in Pretender. Really, the only other woman to slash her with is Brigitte, and no one seems interested in that line of thought.
Does anyone on your friends list read (3) het?
[Scully] I stay as far away from the X-philes fandom as I can, especially the shippers.
Does anyone on you friends list write or draw (11)?
[Duncan MacLeod] Don’t know many artistes, so know.
Would anyone on your friends list write (2)/(4)/(5)?
[Jackson/Harper/Westphalen] I’d like to see someone try. Really.
What might (10) scream at a moment of great passion?
[Data] Jeffrey’s tube! (OK, that’s a reach, but since he’s so multi-tasking, multi-functional, his mind might not be on the passion at all.)
If you wrote a song-fic about (8), which song would you choose?
[John Smith] This is dumb, but the only song I can think of is “New Year’s Prayer” by Jeff Buckley. Which is the theme song. Hey, they did a good job choosing a song, OK? “Feel no shame for what you are.”
If you wrote a (1)/(6)/(12) fic, what would the warnings be?
[Iolaus/Wesley/RayK] Swearing in several modern languages and many Ancient ones, some misdirected love potions, pleas to the Goddess Aphrodite and the totally inapropriate use of police issue handcuffs.
What might be a good pick-up line for (2) to use on (10)?
[Daniel Jackson, Data] Could you help me with this Sumerian Cuneiform? I’m not very good at …conjugating alone.
When was the last time you read a fic about (5)?
[Westphalen] Half past never. seaQuest is a small mostly dead fandom, and the only reason Westphalen ever appears in a fic is as a love interest for Bridger. Canonical het pairing. Blech.
