MI:4 Ghost somethingsomething
Jan. 3rd, 2012 12:32 pmQuick review of MI:4
- I will not stop hearing "International Monetary Fund" whenever they say "IMF," which makes everything funnier.
- Tom Cruise's hair continues to be ridiculous. How is he a real person.
- Simon Pegg is hilarious.
- There was a lot of genre-poking humor overall, which was very much enjoyed.
- One of the action sequences wigged me enough I had to look at the ceiling of the theater. Curse you, my predictable fear of heights! In most movies, these scenes don't bother me but they sometimes do. I think I've just been sensitized by Man on Wire.
- I call foul on the physics of everything.
- I think, perhaps, this movie may have been sponsored by BMW. Just a hunch.
- All the action sequences (and consequently the movie) were about 20% too long.
Overall: A fun way to pass two hours (plus a full half hour of trailers), but forgettable.
