Top 100 flowchart

NPR put out a list of top 100 sci fi and fantasy books, ranked by listeners.

Someone turned it into a flowchart. An enormous, enormous flowchart. That I've spent too long looking at.

This is fully amazing. I'm sort of seized by the desire to have my dad print it out in poster size and use it as a reading guide.

I looked at the top 100 list, but I've been resolutely not looking at the flowchart lest I not get all the things I need to do at work done today.

It's pretty awesome, isn't it? I've read 25 of the books on the list (if I count the one my mom read to me that I don't remember, and if I count series I've only read part of (hello, Xanth)). This particular list has my respect, though, since, as it's a listener generated list, it includes the Hand of Thrawn trilogy, which is truly great writing, but no panel of judges would ever deign to include a media tie-in. It also has Outlander, but I guess I'll let that slide.
