Young and Full of Fluff

I'm not sure I even want to bring my critical brain to bear on Smallville. It's just so disappointing lately. I realized that I've seen every episode and I still don't know who has what stones. And I was trying to justify this tying into the greater mythology, with the caves and Naman and Segeeth and I just keep coming back to the fact that I hate what they've done with Lana's character. OK, I get that they needed to do something with her character - she couldn't continue to be the girl next door - but she's just not the same character anymore. And I don't like her being all mixed in with the superman mythology. And all those conversations with Clark? Gag me. I never thought I'd say it, but I miss Whitney. I really do.
