Ugh, Iman is so incredibly terrible in that season, I have no idea where you're getting it from. Her lines are being delivered by an ear piece rather than a teleprompter, so everything she says is shatner-style with these really awkward pauses. Her criticism was occasionally sarcastic and mocking, which is refreshing, but half the time she was visibly disagreeing with the other judges and I'm not especially inclined to think she was the one who knew what she was talking about. I liked her a bit more after the challenge second season where she was actually giving a little coaching based on her experience with the designers (Especially YSL, not that they listened), but I just don't see her holding a candle to Klum.
Of course, second season project runway canada actually killed a guy, so it has that going for it.
